Exemption from liability:

The participants (driver, co-driver, vehicle owner, vehicle holder) take part in the event at their own risk. They carry all responsibility under civil and criminal law for all damage caused by them or the vehicle used by them as long as no exemption from liability according to this invitation to compete has been agreed. If the driver/co-driver is not owner and holder of the vehicle used in the event, he also exempts the people listed below in the following signed waiver of the owner or vehicle keeper.

The participants (driver, co-driver, vehicle owner, vehicle holder) waive with this application all rights to proceedings or recourse concerning accidents or damage sustained in connection with the event against:
        •   the organiser, his representatives and helpers,
        •   the participants and their helpers as well as the participant's own helpers only if the event concerns a race
            or special test in which the highest speeds or shortest time are to be achieved
        •   the authorities, race officals and any other person concerned with the organisation of the event as long as
            the accident or damage sustained was not caused by criminal intent or gross negligence
The liability restrictions apply equally to the above people.

The participants also waive claims for damages against the road maintenance authorities which be caused by the condition of the road and their appurtenances used in the event. The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme in, particular when caused by unforeseen circumstances, for reasons of safety, or to meet the requirements of the authorities and are not liable if cancellation of the event is made necessary due to extreme circumstances. The German version is binding.

The exemption from liability takes effect with the filing of the application form for all participants.

The participants confirm that the above details are complete and correct, that the registered vehicle in all parts fulfils the relevant laws, rules and technical requirements and that the driver (and co-driver if the co-driver is permitted to drive) is in possession of a valid driving licence, licensed to drive the registered vehicle in the Federal Republic of Germany.
